Applications are obligation-free.
A binding booking arises only after a formal offer is accepted under the conditions stated in this policy.
Mandatory Norwegian consumer rights always prevail. Once any applicable statutory withdrawal period has expired, the commercial cancellation schedule is applied firmly.
Obligation-Free Enquiry
Expressions of interest, applications and programme conversations do not reserve a place or create a payment obligation.
Binding Formal Offer
A booking becomes binding only through acceptance, an accepted purchase order, written commitment or payment under the stated conditions.
Mandatory Rights Protected
Eligible private consumers retain every statutory withdrawal and complaint right provided by Norwegian law.
Commercial Terms Enforced
After any statutory withdrawal period expires, cancellation, no-show and partial-attendance terms apply to protect the limited cohort.
STATUTORY RESOURCES
Consumer Rights and Official Forms
These external resources open in a new tab. Use of the official withdrawal form is optional. An eligible consumer may also send any other unequivocal statement before the deadline expires.
AFTER ANY STATUTORY WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Commercial Cancellation Schedule
This schedule applies to business, professional, employer-funded and organisation bookings, and to eligible consumer bookings after any statutory withdrawal period has expired.
| Cancellation received | Refund entitlement |
|---|---|
| More than 30 calendar days before the first session | 100% refund |
| 15 to 30 calendar days before the first session | 50% refund |
| 14 calendar days or fewer before the first session | No refund |
| Failure to attend or partial attendance | No refund |
Limited-capacity protection
The schedule reflects faculty, venue, preparation and capacity commitments made in reliance on a confirmed booking. Where a late-cancelled place is resold at full price, EduThinkering will prevent double recovery by refunding the amount recovered, after lawful deductions for non-recoverable costs and actual administrative work.
DETAILED TERMS
Full Policy
The plain-language summaries above do not replace the complete terms below.
1. Purpose and scope
This policy applies to in-person, live-online and blended executive education, professional learning, workshops and cohort-based programmes for which BIONDIC EDUTHINKERING CONSULTANCY is identified as the seller and Programme Provider in the formal programme offer, booking confirmation and invoice.
Virtual Production Dojo may own or lead a programme’s curriculum, technical delivery and intellectual property. That relationship does not alter the identity of the contracting seller shown in the formal offer and invoice.
The programme title, fee, dates, venue, delivery format, payment deadline and any programme-specific conditions are stated in the formal programme offer. If a programme-specific written term conflicts with this policy, the more specific term applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
2. Consumer, professional and organisation bookings
A consumer is a natural person who enters into the agreement for purposes that are not mainly connected with that person’s trade, business or professional activity.
A person who pays personally may still be making a professional or business booking. Employer-funded bookings, organisation purchases, purchase-order bookings and registrations made mainly for a trade or profession do not normally carry the statutory consumer right of withdrawal.
Nothing in this policy determines consumer status merely by a checkbox or payment method. The actual purpose and circumstances of the booking are relevant. Mandatory consumer protections apply whenever the law says they apply.
3. Enquiries, applications and programme conversations
An expression of interest, enquiry, readiness assessment, programme conversation or application is obligation-free. It does not reserve a confirmed place and does not create a payment obligation.
EduThinkering may decline an application where the programme is not a suitable fit, the applicant has provided materially incomplete or inaccurate information, required cohort conditions are not met, or acceptance would create a safety, conduct, delivery or commercial risk.
4. When a booking becomes binding
For a business, employer-funded or organisation booking, the agreement becomes binding when the formal programme offer is accepted in writing, an accepted purchase order or written payment commitment is submitted, or payment is made, whichever occurs first.
For an eligible consumer booking, the agreement becomes binding only after EduThinkering has supplied the required pre-contract information, this policy, the programme offer and the statutory withdrawal information and form, and the consumer has expressly accepted the offer.
A place is confirmed only when EduThinkering acknowledges the booking and has received full payment, an accepted purchase order or another written payment commitment approved by EduThinkering.
Invoices are normally payable within ten calendar days and must be paid before the first programme session unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is overdue, EduThinkering may release the place after written notice and may claim statutory late-payment interest and lawful recovery costs.
5. How to cancel
Commercial cancellation notices must be sent to eduthinkering@protonmail.com and should state the participant’s name, programme title, programme dates and booking or invoice reference. A commercial cancellation takes effect when EduThinkering receives the notice.
This requirement does not restrict an eligible consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal. A statutory withdrawal may be made using the official form or any other unequivocal statement. The statutory deadline is met when the consumer sends the notice before the withdrawal period expires.
The sender should retain evidence showing when the notice was sent. EduThinkering will acknowledge receipt in writing.
6. Commercial cancellation schedule
The following schedule applies to employer-funded bookings, organisation purchases, business and professional registrations, and private consumer registrations after any applicable statutory withdrawal period has expired. Time is measured backwards from the first scheduled programme session.
More than 30 calendar days before the first session: 100% refund of programme fees paid.
15 to 30 calendar days before the first session: 50% refund of programme fees paid.
14 calendar days or fewer before the first session: no refund.
Failure to attend, late arrival, early departure or partial attendance: no refund.
These charges reflect the limited cohort capacity, faculty commitments, venue and delivery costs reserved in reliance on a confirmed booking. They do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
Where a place subject to a partial or no-refund cancellation is subsequently filled by another participant paying the full fee, EduThinkering will refund the amount recovered from the replacement participant, capped at the original fee paid, after deducting non-recoverable costs caused by the cancellation and a reasonable amount for administrative work actually performed. A replacement sale is not guaranteed.
7. Substitutions and exceptional transfers
A confirmed participant may nominate a suitable replacement without an additional programme fee. The replacement must satisfy the intended participant profile, accept the programme terms and be approved by EduThinkering. Replacement details should normally be received at least three working days before the first session.
Where serious illness, bereavement or another exceptional circumstance prevents attendance, EduThinkering may, at its discretion, transfer the place to a future equivalent cohort. EduThinkering may request reasonable supporting documentation limited to what is necessary to assess the request. Any personal data will be handled under the applicable privacy notice.
A discretionary transfer may normally be granted once, is subject to availability, and must normally be used within 12 months. Any increase in the future programme fee must be paid. If EduThinkering does not offer an equivalent cohort within that period, the unused credit will be refunded. A discretionary transfer does not otherwise create an additional right to a cash refund.
8. Statutory withdrawal rights for eligible consumers
An eligible private consumer who enters into a distance contract or an off-premises contract will generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. For a service contract, the period normally begins when the contract is entered into.
The consumer does not need to give a reason. The consumer may send an unequivocal statement to EduThinkering by email or post, or may use the official Q-0319B withdrawal form. Use of the official form is optional.
The withdrawal deadline is satisfied where the consumer sends the notice before the period expires.
EduThinkering must provide the legally required withdrawal information and form before the consumer becomes bound. If required withdrawal information is not supplied, the withdrawal period may be extended in accordance with law, potentially for up to 12 months beyond the original period. If the missing information is supplied during that extension, the withdrawal period normally ends 14 days later.
Where a consumer booking is made fewer than 14 days before the programme begins, statutory withdrawal rights take priority over the commercial cancellation schedule.
Business, organisation and professional-purpose bookings do not receive a statutory consumer withdrawal right merely because an individual pays the invoice personally.
9. Starting delivery during the withdrawal period
Where a consumer asks for programme delivery or another paid service to begin before the statutory withdrawal period expires, EduThinkering will require an express request. Where required by law, the request will be made on a durable medium.
The consumer will also be asked to acknowledge that the right of withdrawal will be lost when the service has been fully performed.
If the consumer withdraws after delivery has begun following a legally valid request, EduThinkering may charge a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the time of withdrawal. The amount will be based on the agreed total price and the proportion of the service actually supplied.
EduThinkering will not charge for early performance where the statutory information, request and consent conditions have not been met.
10. Cohort confirmation
Cohort-based programmes are subject to sufficient confirmed enrolment, venue readiness, faculty availability and final commercial approval.
EduThinkering will confirm in writing whether the programme is proceeding no later than 14 calendar days before the first scheduled session, unless the formal programme offer states an earlier confirmation date.
Participants should not make non-refundable travel or accommodation arrangements before written cohort confirmation. EduThinkering is not responsible for independently arranged travel, accommodation or related costs except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
11. Cancellation, postponement or changes by EduThinkering
If EduThinkering cancels a programme before it begins, the payer may choose a full refund of programme fees paid or transfer of the full amount to a rescheduled or future equivalent cohort. A transfer will be made only with the payer’s agreement.
If programme dates are postponed or materially changed, a participant who cannot attend the revised dates may cancel and receive a full refund of programme fees paid. The participant must respond within the reasonable period stated in the postponement notice.
EduThinkering may make reasonable changes to individual faculty members, session sequence, teaching methods, technology or the venue within Trondheim where operationally necessary, provided that the programme’s overall learning outcomes, quality and guided delivery hours are not materially reduced.
12. Events beyond reasonable control
If delivery is prevented or materially disrupted by an event beyond EduThinkering’s reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, government action, public-health restrictions, venue closure, critical technology failure or sudden incapacity of essential faculty, EduThinkering may reschedule, relocate, suspend or reasonably adapt the affected delivery.
EduThinkering will notify participants promptly and take reasonable steps to preserve the programme’s value. If the affected programme cannot be completed within a reasonable period, the payer will be entitled to a refund for the undelivered portion.
Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from wilful misconduct, gross negligence or mandatory consumer protection.
13. Non-attendance and partial attendance
Failure to attend, late arrival, early departure or partial attendance for reasons not attributable to EduThinkering does not create a right to a refund or fee reduction.
Completion certificates are issued only where the published completion requirements are met.
This section does not limit a participant’s rights arising from EduThinkering’s material breach, materially deficient performance or any mandatory legal protection.
14. Participant conduct, false information and material breach
Participants must behave lawfully, safely and professionally. EduThinkering may suspend or remove a participant for threatening, discriminatory, harassing, unsafe, unlawful or materially disruptive conduct; intentional interference with delivery; unauthorised recording; serious misuse of confidential information or programme materials; impersonation; fraud; or materially false information used to obtain a place.
Except where immediate action is reasonably required to protect people, property, confidential information or programme delivery, EduThinkering will normally give written notice of the concern and a reasonable opportunity to respond or remedy the breach.
Where participation is ended for a material breach, there is no refund for services already supplied. Any amount relating to undelivered services may be reduced by reasonable losses and costs directly caused by the breach, to the extent permitted by law. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
This section does not remove any mandatory consumer right or lawful complaint right.
15. Refund processing
Statutory consumer refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after EduThinkering receives valid notice of withdrawal.
A statutory refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise. The consumer will not incur a fee for the refund.
Other approved refunds will normally be issued in Norwegian kroner to the original payer and processed within 14 calendar days after written confirmation. A receiving bank, card issuer or currency-conversion provider may apply its own exchange rate or charges outside EduThinkering’s control.
16. Payment disputes, chargebacks and overdue amounts
Participants and payers are encouraged to raise payment or service disputes directly with EduThinkering first so that the matter can be investigated promptly.
Nothing in this policy limits a lawful consumer complaint, bank dispute or chargeback right. However, knowingly false, duplicate or misleading refund or chargeback claims may be contested using the booking record, accepted offer, attendance record, correspondence and delivery evidence.
A chargeback or payment dispute does not extinguish an amount that remains lawfully due. EduThinkering may pursue unpaid amounts, statutory interest and lawful recovery costs where appropriate.
17. Complaints and dispute resolution
Questions, cancellation notices, refund requests and complaints should first be sent to eduthinkering@protonmail.com. EduThinkering will seek to provide a substantive response within ten working days.
If an eligible consumer complaint cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may apply for mediation through Forbrukertilsynet, subject to its eligibility rules and current case-processing requirements. If mediation does not resolve the dispute and the matter falls within its jurisdiction, either party may request consideration by Forbrukerklageutvalget.
This policy is governed by Norwegian law. Mandatory consumer protections and mandatory jurisdiction rights remain unaffected.
18. Policy version and precedence
This policy is effective from 24 July 2026 and is version 2.0.
The version supplied with and accepted as part of the binding programme offer applies to that booking. A later amendment will not reduce an existing participant’s mandatory rights or agreed refund entitlement.
Where a term conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law prevails and the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
